CODE of CONDUCT

The Village Geek is a destination where people can feel safe and enjoy themselves. Therefore we ask everyone who comes into the store to be aware of our Code of Conduct and encourage each other to follow it.

1. Be Welcoming - We work together to create a family friendly, welcoming environment for all ages to pursue our mission of Community Through Games. This includes respecting the identities and choices of others and refraining from the use of profanity and slurs.

2. Be Kind - We treat others with respect and kindness and in turn we can expect to be treated the same. We follow the instructions of store staff and event staff in order to ensure a positive environment for our community.

3. Be Fair - We follow the rules of the games we play, we adhere to judge decisions during tournament play, and we respect our opponents.

4. Be Punctual - We respect each other’s time by arriving at events by the check-in time and ready to play.
